Chapter 3 - Gess Attack

Scene: Leaping from the rooftop with a rebel cry, the intruder takes aim to hit Aiko in the back of the head. Predicting her move, Aiko at the last moment, steps to the side, and swinging her staff around, makes connection with the intruder’s staff.

  • AAAHHHHH!!!!

  • Aiko: Surprise!

    Intruder: Huh?!

  • Realizing her error, the intruder quickly moves into her defensive position. Just as she does, Aiko assumes the same position, challenging the intruder to make the first move. Both, it appears, have battled before. So will this be a battle to the death, or a lesson Aiko will teach to an unsuspecting foe?

  • Aiko: So, that's how it's going to be? Thought you would take me by surprise? Oh Gess, you still have so much to learn.

  • Gess: I know enough.

  • Aiko: Really? Ok then, my stance is open, I’ll only defend myself. You have 10 seconds to try and hit me.
