Scene: As her concerns for Gess increase, Aiko goes to the one place she can think.
-
-
Rey: I figured I’d find you up here.
-
Aiko: Something is really troubling Gess and I just don’t know how to help her. She talked of some big challenge she has to do. It’s got me concerned
Rey: Maybe the big challenge is saying goodbye to you. If you haven’t noticed, she idealizes you. You have been her whole world. She wants to be you, right down the clothes she wears to look like a defender. Maybe she’s just afraid of losing all of that and not knowing what to do next.
Aiko: Maybe you’re right. You know I’m just…
Rey: Not good with emotions
Aiko: Ya.
-
Rey: When we get back, she’ll see that nothing has changed and feel secure again. But in the meantime, the Defenders have put together a send off for us before the Sylph escort us to the portal.
Aiko: They don’t want us to give a speech, do they? You know I’m not good at that. Between my family and Gess, this day has been exhausting.
Rey: Haha. No, it’s something they’ve been working on for us.
Aiko: Fine. And it’s a mystery why I live in the woods.
